Isdaan Floating Resto, Calauan, Laguna, Barrio Fiesta, Gigantic BuddhaI was looking for a perfect getaway for my birthday when I read something about a theme park restaurant just few hours away from Manila. Reading some reviews about the place and the photos made me decided that this is the best venue to celebrate my birthday. First, I've check how to get there. The exact address of Isdaan Floating Restaurant is at Brgy. Hanggan in Calaun, Laguna. It is managed by one of the country's pioneer restaurateur, Rod Ongpauco. Foods are from Bakahan at Manukan, Singing Cooks and Waiters, Pritong Bicol and Barrio Fiesta. 1. via Private Vehicle- SLEX then exit to Calamba. There's a crossing going to Sta. Cruz, Calauan and Bay. Go straight to the one going to Sta. Cruz not Calauan or Bay. I think it is just 1 km away from that crossing. 2. via Bus bound to Sta. Cruz, Laguna (Green Star and HM Transport)- It will just be an hour or two from Alabang (depending on the traffic). It is located at the right side. Just tell the driver or conductor to drop you off at Isdaan. Contact Numbers: (049) 566 0880, (049) 566 0881 or +63922844392. HIGHLIGHTS: *If you are coming on a holiday or weekends, prepare to wait for at least half an hour or more to be seated. Place is very crowded and you need to wait again that long for them to serve your order. *Must-try food. Juicy Spareribs and Nilagang Bulalo. Foods are a bit pricey. *Free balloon, loot bag and face painting for kids. *Boat ride is free but there is a compulsory tip of Php20.00 per pax. (Yes! per pax.) What to see, check it here... Small business branding is simple when you remember one thing: it's all about the customer's experience. Here's a true story from one of my professional speaking travel logs about a brand you might not think of as delivering amazing customer service. This is a story of how one business communicated beyond their brand and how you can create your own amazing customer experiences as you build your own brand.
